Topic: "Cyber Risk is not a Technology Problem"

What it's about: Although headlines often present cyber risk as a technology issue, it's really a risk management issue. At the conclusion of this webinar, the active participant will understand:

  • How to understand cyber risk in an enterprise risk management perspective
  • The types of 1st party and 3rd party cyber risk exposures
  • Insuring cyber risks by conventional policies and specialized cyber policies

Who should attend? Underwriters, claims handlers, risk managers and any insurance professional who wants to undersatnd the fundamental issues of cyber risk, explained without the confusing technical terms and legal jargon.

The Institutes

Marty works at the Institutes in Malvern PA. He publicly represents the Institutes through industry presentations and articles on current insurance / risk management issues. In addition, his work involves revision and creation of Institutes curriculum.
 
He is the primary author for these recent Institutes textbooks: “Managing Cyber Risk” and “Claims Leadership and Organizational Alignment.” He authors several articles each year as a “Risk Insider” for Business Insurance magazine as well as developing podcasts for Claims Journal. He is a frequent participant in CPCU Society webinars.
